The Regal Superb is where real Shetland wool first enters the collection, and its presence at the sleep surface defines everything that follows. The ticking, woven from wool and viscose, opens with a softness that is neither flat nor inert: beneath it, blended real Shetland wool and cotton sit closest to the body, its natural crimp creating a resilient loft that yields under weight and returns with each turn.

The middle filling, South American long-stranded horsetail blended with British fleece wool, is hand-teased to preserve the open, hollow structure of each fibre, which traps air and releases it as temperature rises, drawing heat away from the sleeper through the night. Nearest the springs, bonded Platinum Certified British fleece wool and cotton provides a stable, compressed base that prevents the upper fillings from migrating and anchors the mattress's overall depth of 9.1 inches at the border. A single layer of vanadium steel pocket springs, hand-nested in calico into Vispring's signature honeycomb pattern, reaches 2,236 springs in a US King, each moving independently to isolate movement and distribute pressure without the stiffness of a rigid edge.
